Still haven't sent my response to this consult as I keep thinking of yet more powerful arguments about the damage that state oversight and intrusion will do. The more I think about it, the angrier I get...and this as a parent who has only had very tenuous experience of exposing my children to school. School was SO MUCH LESS effecient than home education that I cannot believe I am being asked to repeatedly put our case. BUT ANYHOW, I SHALL and I will go after them if they DARE to act in ultra vires fashion. SORRY CANT STOP SHOUTING just at the mo. Well said, yet again.
